About the book

Alison Hart, a medium by trade, tours the dormitory towns of London’s orbital ring road with her flint-hearted sidekick, Colette, passing on messages from beloved dead ancestors. At the same time she is plagued by spirits from her own past, who infiltrate her body and home, becoming stronger and nastier the more she resists…

Out of 9, 8 did not like it, finding it disjointed, boring, repetitious, slow, sleazy and poorly written with poor characters and nothing happening. One liked it finding it descriptive, dark, funny and shocking. Some found the subject matter of the occult interesting. 5 out of the 9 did not choose to finish it.
