Children’s Christmas Crafts

Festive spirit has officially taken over in Hampshire Libraries, so get yourself down to one of our events. From crochet snowflakes to tree decorating, if you’re looking for some entertainment, we’ve got you covered!

Here’s a selection of just a few of the activities taking place…

Crochet Snowflakes Workshop at Alton Library

This workshop will introduce you to 2 or 3 types of crochet snowflake designs to enable you to create homemade snowflakes as a Christmas decoration. This workshop is for those with some experience of crochet although beginners are welcome to attend.

Kids Christmas Crafts Special at Havant Library

Join us for Christmas stories and songs at 10.30am to 11am and/or drop in between 11am and 12.30pm for Christmas crafts.

Christmas Eve Storytime at Alresford Library

To help get your little ones into the spirit…come and join us for our special Christmas Storytime. Mince pies for grown ups too!

Christmas Crafts at Stubbington Library

Come along to Stubbington Library and decorate Christmas trees and baubles.

Twilight Storytime at Tadley Library

Join us for Christmas stories by candlelight at our popular Twilight Storytime in Tadley Library. Don t forget your blanket and teddy too!

The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark

Blunderbus theatre return this Christmas with another enchanting children’s production. From the classic children’s book by Jill Tomlinson, this tale is written for age 3-7 and their grown-ups. With an irresistible blend of live music, poetry and storytelling , join Plop the baby barn owl as he journeys into the night time world of campfires, fireworks and moonlit aventures.
