All readers enjoyed this book. Simple but with strong emotional overtones and a story line with many possibilities as the plot unwinds. A great deal of empathy for the girl and lots of hidden depths and response from readers about the “system” and its effect on the individual.

An easy read, some interesting plot strands but not fully realised. We all finished the book but some reluctantly.
