On April 23, we celebrate the 400th anniversary of the death of Shakespeare. In Hampshire Libraries, we’ll be joining in the celebrations with talks, crafts, and a whole range of resources at your fingertips.
Join us on 23 April to mark the bard’s 400th anniversary with a Shakespeare selfie! People all over the country will be taking to social media to share their Shakespeare selfie pictures, and in Hampshire we want as many of you as possible to share yours. However you decide to celebrate, don’t miss out on the amazing resources available to you to mark the occasion. You could try out Shakespeare Documented, the internet’s largest collection of Shakespearean documents, or listen to Shakespeare retold, a collection of ten of William Shakespeare’s most famous plays, retold by leading children’s writers and read by some famous voices.
