Harry Potter Book Night 2021

Slightly delayed but still as exciting as ever, Harry Potter Book Night is back for 2021 and Hampshire Libraries are celebrating in style! Join us on Thursday 24 June, either in person at Winchester Discovery Centre or via zoom, for a spellbinding FREE quiz evening for all ages. Wizarding attire encouraged!

Do you know your Hungarian Horntails from your Hippogriffs? Your Horcruxes from your Hallows? Your Galleons from your Golden Snitches? Then this is the quiz for you! We guarantee it won’t be Nastily Exhausting!

Harry Potter and the wider wizarding world have inspired children and adults to read for over 20 years and the magic shows no sign of slowing down. If you haven’t yet read the series, we have copies available in eBook and eAudio format and even copies in foreign languages.

Please be aware that chimneys will not be in use so arrival by floo powder is not permitted. Please check all brooms in at the cloakroom. Participants should also note that use of Felix Felicis is prohibited.

Before you go and book your tickets, I’d like to finish with a few words and here they are Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!

Each team can be up to 6 people, both online and in person. To book an online space for your team, click the owl!

And to book a space for your in-person team at Winchester Discovery Centre, click the golden trio!

In line with the guidelines from the Ministry of Magic, we have a limited amount of seating in our great hall to accommodate social distancing between groups, so make sure to book your tickets in advance.
